Peasant levies march from the villages beyond Cathay's great walls — simply armed, but well-organised and gloriously numerous. What they lack in fine equipment they make up for in sheer weight of bodies, overwhelming the Celestial Dragon's enemies through discipline and numbers.
What's in the box
- 20 multipart plastic Peasant Levy infantry
- 298 plastic components
- Build as one unit of 20 or two units of 10, each with optional command
- 24 bare heads, 24 straw-hat heads, 20 straw hats and 20 quivers for variety
- 20 × Citadel 25mm square bases
Weapon & wargear options
- Arm them with warbows or long spears
- Champion can take a warbow or shield, with a choice of heads
Cheap, flexible and easy to personalise — the numerous backbone any Cathay army wants behind its elite troops.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue and paints sold separately. Stiffen the line with a charge of Jade Lancers and finish the levy with the right Citadel paints.
