The Story

The pale blue underside of the early Luftwaffe. RLM 65 was the standard lower-surface camouflage of German operational aircraft — fighters from 1936 to about mid-1941, and bombers, recon, maritime and transport machines from 1936 into late 1944. If you're building an early Bf 109, a Stuka or a He 111, this is the colour under the wings.
